It is no secret that I have a sweet tooth. Late at night, when the kids finally go to sleep, I peruse Pinterest looking for sweets. I am typically looking for the next best dessert to appease this sweet tooth of mine. And sure enough, I always find one, or three, waiting for me to pin it and make it.
This past weekend was no different. I found a great recipe for Oreo Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Bars. I seen them, salivated and knew that this would be my guilty pleasure for a few days. I say MY because I don’t give my kids sweets and even if I did, there was no way I was sharing these. Sure enough, I incorporated the ingredients into my weekly grocery trip and wound up with 9 bars of goodness!
My struggle with my sweet tooth at this point in time is that it goes against my SUPPOSED diet. Dropping the baby weight this time around has been a little harder. But we’ll get into that at another time.
All I know is that having pinterest and great recipes like this around, I’ll never get this weight off. But I think I am willing to accept that because sweets will forever be my downfall.
If you are interested in making this amazing recipe, check out Belle of the Kitchen! She conjured up this sweet treat and has plenty others over on her website! It is quick (took all of 30 minutes to put together) and so worth it!
* I substituted the regular oreos for golden oreos because they are more up my alley but the recipe was still AMAZING!
Hope you guys enjoy this bar of goodness just as much as I did!
